English Culture Quiz

We have just  finished our English Culture Quiz in Estadilla, Azanuy, Estada, El Grado y Fonz. There has been a present for participating and a special award for those students who have answered most of the quiz questions successfully.

It has been a very motivating experience  for our students and we would like  to thank the families for their collaboration and wish you happy holidays.

This information is for those pupils from  6th course  who want to join the   MOR DE FUENTES HIGH SCHOOL BILINGUAL PROGRAM. As you already know, you should pass an English exam divided into  four parts; reading, listening, writing and speaking. 

The exam will be on Monday, 25th June at 9:30 h.

WHAT LIFTS YOU

Some students from 5th course in Estadilla have prepared an amazing photocall in the English Art class for welcoming their classmates from Bubal and Toulouse.

It is inspired in the work of the artist  Kelsey Montague. She makes  murals with huge winds so the artwork can interact with people. It is called social art. 

There is also a reflection about the idea of what lifts you  in your life.

  THE SUN, THE EARTH AND THE MOON

Today we finish our space project in Arts with 1st and 2nd pupils from Fonz.

We have learnt about translation and rotation movements with the Earth, the Sun and the Moon in English. We have taken  fantastic photos at  the corridor mural we did last Wednesday.

It has been very funny !!!!!

Playdough

Today, in our Arts & Crafts lesson in Estada, we are going to do homemade dough. 

You have all the instructions below. Let´s try!! It´s really easy and funny!

Materials

• 1 cup cold water
• 1 cup salt
• 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
• Tempera paint or food coloring
• 3 cups flour

Directions

1.   In bowl, mix water, salt, oil, and enough tempera paint or food coloring to make a bright color.

2.   Gradually add flour until the mixture reaches the consistency of bread dough.

3.   Store covered or in a pot.

ENGLISH MASTER CHEF !!!

We have just finished  our food proyect with a great experience. Pupils wrote fantastic recipes with all ingredients and instructions to make them. 

Finally, last  Thursday 15th March they  elaborated and brought to the classroom their delicious food.

In Estadilla, Pupils from 5th and 6th invited all their classmates to a fantastic English breakfast. There were some butter biscuits, a chocolate cake, an orange cake, a yoghurt cake, some fruit skewer with chocolate, some salty pattys, and some chocolate balls.

We shared our recipes with everybody at school.

In Fonz, we shared our recipes and everybody talked about ingredients and preparation. There were some chocolate muffins, a salad, some muffins with cream and jam, some pancakes with chocolate and strawberry syrup, a delicious gluten free cake, some  french toasts, a pizza and a  potato omelette. Yummy!!!
